My name is Mike Norton. Until recently I was a mechanic for Northwest Airlines. Today I am self employed as a contractor doing home maintenance and repair for those who need a handyman.

I grew up in construction, my grandfather being a carpenter and brick/stone mason. Home maintenance and repair is something that I have done for a long time, first for myself renovating two older homes that I owned in the New York area then for friends and family.

I was the general contractor for the home that I now live in with my wife Nancy and my two children Katherine and Frank. Getting the job done right is something that I enjoy doing. Installing a hardwood or tile floor, adding a partition or opening a wall for a doorway or window, even changing a light fixture or bulb should be done with care.

I do all that and more, whatever the project, flooring, walls, doors, windows, painting, trim work, changing fixtures, installing cabinets, stopping leaks, or pouring concrete sidewalks and patio’s I do as if I was working on my own house. There is no job too small.
